1. WHY we must free America

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government..."

--The Declaration of Independence

The Founding Fathers believed that government only exists to secure its people’s rights. When it fails to do so and instead consistently violates those rights, it becomes illegitimate. The Declaration of Independence states that we, as men, have the right [and duty] to alter or abolish such a government, and replace it with a legitimate one.

There is no doubt that our central government has been consistently destructive of the ends for which it was created, and, therefore, needs to be replaced. As the Founding Fathers saw fit to prove such a reality of repeated usurpations and violations, so have we, with a partial list of grievances linked below:

The usurpation of power and the violation of rights that the central government has consistently carried out and increased since the adoption of the national constitution is too vast to capture in a single list, much less on this one page. That being said, here is a link to a sample-size list of grievances, which is certainly comprehensive enough on its own to demonstrate the tyranny we have endured and the dire need to abolish and replace the government that has exercised it:
